TowerSolution, Inc. (TSI) was founded by Steve Rhodes with the goal of providing owners and managers of elevator and escalator systems with information which will allow them to make long and short term decisions which are in the best interest of their facility. The Rhodes family has over 50 years of combined experience in all aspects of the elevator industry. TSI is well prepared to meet your vertical transportation needs.
Steve Rhodes began his elevator career in 1982 as the son of a 40-year veteran of the elevator construction and repair industry following his graduation from the University of Oklahoma. While at OU Steve had a highly successful career as a wide receiver with the Sooners followed by brief stints in the National Football League and Canadian Football League. Steve continued his elevator career in Houston, TX as a Service Representative until 1988. In 1997, Steve was made Service Operations Manager where he excelled in the negotiation of maintenance agreements and evaluation of Elevator and Escalator equipment. From 2002 – 2012, he progressed as a Sales Representative to New Business Manager to Service Manager and finally, to a National Accounts Manager for Schindler Elevator Corporation. In 2012, Steve accepted a role as Branch Manager for ThyssenKrupp Elevator in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas he achieved multi-million-dollar yearly targets while also promoting a team-oriented workplace and utilized his gifts as a leader. In 2016, Steve was sought out by a New York/New Jersey based Elevator consulting firm, Van Deusen and Associates and furthered his career as an Elevator Consultant. In 2019 he accepted a role as National Director of Service Operations for ThyssenKrupp Elevator where he worked until the founding of TSI.
Drew Rhodes began his career in 2006 after graduation from Howard Payne University. He served as a new construction technician in Dallas, Texas with Schindler Elevator Corporation. He was then promoted to Service Representative, managing all aspects of service and repair sales in the DFW metroplex. In 2011, he continued his elevator career as Project Manager for the Devon Tower Project in Oklahoma City. He coordinated RFI responses, technician housing, daily job site meetings and OSHA certifications. At the completion of the project, he transitioned back into a Service Representative role for ThyssenKrupp Elevator in Oklahoma City for the next 5 years. In 2015 he entered another facet of the elevator industry and became an associate for a Dallas based company, CMH Elevator Consultants. During his time there he performed surveys and prepared reports for clients in 26 states. In 2017, Drew accepted a role at Van Deusen and Associates and furthered his career as an Elevator Consultant until the founding of TSI.
